Rather, the term muscle relaxer is used to describe a group of drugs that act as central nervous system depressants and have sedative and musculoskeletal relaxant properties, though not all of those properties have been observed in humans or in animals. The drugs are classified both based on the type of sedative activity (drugs that relieve tension and reduce muscle tension) and the type of musculoskeletal action (drugs that inhibit motion). Thus, the "muscle relaxers" of the present report include several of the drugs on the list given above and more than one of the drugs previously mentioned, anabolic steroids jaw pain.
