I'm guessing you're trying to activate a test product before it's deployed into full-bloom. If that's the case, perhaps it would be better to develop a test script that uses the test product (like a test version of Autodesk Navisworks) and automate the process.
Alternatively, you might be hoping to save yourself a trip to your Account Executive, and have them go about the process for you. Again, automated is a better approach, but you still have to pay somebody else.
If you want to explain your business case, someone will consider it, but basically, salespeople are trained to sell at any cost.
How to copy/paste rows from one table to another using VBA code
I have a fairly complicated form that allows for users to open an Access Table called "Sheet1" where they can enter information.
There is also a Table2, which is a copy of Sheet1 that is hidden.
When the user opens a new form that contains data, data can be added or data can be deleted depending on what is in Table2 at that time.
When a new form opens I want to copy the content of Table2 and paste it into the current open form to the current active record so that it will reflect what is in the sheet at that time.
I'm using the recordSelect statement to see which record is currently open.
There are duplicate records in Table1 and Table2.
I need to find a way to only copy the content of Table2 to Table1 for a given record number.
This is what I am trying to do:
Private Sub CommandButton12_Click()
Dim rng As Range
Set rng = Range("D10:D14").End(xlDown).Offset(1, 0)
This example assumes that the sheet where you want to paste the rows is Sheet1 and that the sheet where you want to paste the rows is located in the same folder as the file with your code, which I'm calling VBAProject.xlsm.
It can handle any number of rows. As soon as you fill in any rows, they'll be copied to Sheet1:
