Though they were off to a good start, they had a small hiccup during the last few seconds. However, they managed to put James 19 steps behind them. The chaser was off to a rough start. He had three pushbacks, but he caught the team with 11 seconds left and stopped them from winning the money.
In walking with Bernard, Theresa tries to say that his show of professional collegiality in how he addressed her wasn't necessary in light of his 'change of employment status'. But Bernard cuts to the chase saying he knows the test with Clementine was a sham. Completely transparent from a technical perspective to the point of being embarrassing. If he see saw through it he can only imagine what Ford was thinking. There were glaringly obvious markers of human intervention in Clem's code, pointing out that if QA's coder were any good they would be working for *him*. And, he reveals that he knows she was behind the stray, and the satellite transmissions. That catches her by surprise. But he cuts off any attempt to explain with \"I don't care.\" Going on to focus on his primary concern. \"40 years ago Ford's partner wrote half the code this place was founded on.\" Essentially what she said in lab was right. They don't know how the hosts work, and he thinks there is something wrong with them. Ford's 'explanation' only bolstering his hunch. The ability to deviate from programmed behaviour arises from their ability to recall events from past iterations. That there is a connection between Memory and Improvisation, she checks, Bernard nodding. Out of repetition comes variation, he says, and after all this time the hosts are on the verge of 'some kind of change'. Taking that in, Theresa nods, and taking his arm tells him that he needs to know that her chief concern has always been the welfare of the Park, and the people in it. \"I know,\" he says, which is why he needs to show her something, heading with her into the nearby elevator.
Alec has flashbacks to a young boy on a beach and a young girl. He awakens in a hospital bed after having a heart arrhythmia during the chase. Ellie is there. She tells him that the doctors told her about his condition and how he'd had a previous attack and checked himself out against medical advice. He tells her he's been sick for about a year and a half and it has gotten worse in the last couple of months. She asks why he took the job knowing he was so sick. He tells her that they're close to finding the killer and asks her to not tell their supervisor. Ellie walks out.
On the second and renewed Season of ABC Revival, the Chasers' group gets one new chaser, The Beast, Mark Labbett (known from GSN version of The Chase and the original UK version), now with four rotating chasers.[1]
The third Season of ABC Revival sees a major Chaser shake up, as new chasers: Victoria \"The Queen\" Groce, Brandon \"The Lightning Bolt\" Blackwell, and Buzzy \"The Stunner\" Cohen join fellow Chasers Rutter \"The Buzzsaw\" and Holzhauer \"The High Roller.\"
At Anteiku, Kaneki worries about Hinami and covers her as she sleeps. A crash comes from the next room and he goes to find Touka injured. Yoshimura walks in and figures that Touka must have engaged with the investigators and refuses to give her medical attention. Feeling that her life was not his concern if she was endangering herself, Touka flees. Kaneki tries to chase after her, but Yoshimura stops him. Kaneki says he understands that he must have his reasons, but being inexperienced in their world, Kaneki wants to learn things firsthand and judge for himself what he thinks is right or wrong. Kaneki finds Touka outside and brings her a first aid kit, but she tries to get him to leave. Touka still feels that Kaneki is an outsider who would not understand, but Kaneki is insistent. Touka explains her feelings and Kaneki has a better grasp of what she is trying to do. Since becoming a ghoul, Kaneki has come to realize that regardless of the species, he would be sad if someone he knew died and that includes Touka. Kaneki asks Touka to let him help her.
They ride out on a skiff of some sort pulled by a creature called a mudmander that Graydon later names Kenneth (which is cute). The bad guys chase and we get a fun fight/chase scene where we learn that Graydon actually has magical powers, too. Boorman has the magical Kymerian Cuirass but refuses to use it (he wants just the right moment) but they make their escape anyways, thanks to both Elora and Graydon casting spells at the bad guys. 59ce067264
