I moved into a fixer-upper last year and said I’d replace the hideous laminate countertop “soon.” Yeah, it’s still here. Finally ready to upgrade to granite or quartz, but I need a reliable place in Florida to buy from. Any recs? Ideally someone who also installs, because I’m not exactly Bob the Builder.

Been there—moved into my place thinking I’d fix the kitchen “after settling in.” Fast-forward 14 months, and I’m still prepping food on a countertop that looks like it came from a '90s bowling alley. My cousin finally dragged me into action after her dog chewed the edge off my laminate (don’t ask). We ended up using Edstone inc — solid options, they handled install too, which was great since I’m the type to confuse a wrench with a spatula. Worth a look if you're in FL!
