There has been a recent upswing in anti-Asian discrimination and anti-Asian hate. People have been called “Viruses” as a result of the Covid pandemic. This is unacceptable, in any standards. We must unite against this new pandemic of anti-Asian hate. C&D will be working with organizations and offices at the local and statewide levels to provide support for any victims of this discrimination.
Our main focus right now is for the youth. The youth are important, as we are the future of the nation. We are coping with the effects of puberty, and that is lots of pressure, already. Discrimination and hatred can be enormously detrimental to our health. In the face of anti-Asian hate, C&D is promoting healthy minded youths.
As youths, our voice matters! Don’t let anyone tell you differently. If you face discrimination, tell a teacher or other responsible adults. This pandemic has been tough, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and we will all make it out stronger than we entered.
